Composition and color are very strong aspects of every fine art image I produce, whether it is a city scape or an industrial landscape. Major themes that run through my works are the interplay of natural and artificial light, the opposition of beauty and ugliness, the contradiction of time and timelessness and the juxtaposition between human creation and natural creation. I feel it is only through understanding opposition and contradiction that we can ever find balance in our lives and our world.

I use long exposures ranging from 30 seconds to several minutes. The colors are not enhanced with filters or special printing techniques, but are a result of the interplay of natural and artificial light.
